St Margaret’s Junior ladies kept up their good start to the League with a comprehensive win over Clan Na Gael B at home on Wednesday evening. The girls started well with Rebecca McGuinness off to a flyer with 2 goals and 2 points in the first 10 minutes setting the tone. St Margaret’s never looked back and ran out 6-18 to 0-3 winners. Rebecca finished with an impressive tally of 3 – 4 . Kate Dwyer contributed well with 1 – 7, Tasha Barnwall 1 – 4, Charmaine Doyle 1-0, Shauna Martin 0-2 and Erica Milling 0-1. This was another very good team performance with the defenders giving nothing away. In particular the half back line of Lauren McDonnell, Sophie McQuillan Clarke and Tara Murphy letting nothing past them. Charmaine Doyle and Yvonne Dwyer again put in impressive performance at mid field. All the subs were used and kept the team driving forward.
