It was an exciting home game today for the Girls of St. Margaret’s who were well matched against an energetic Scoil Ui Chonaill. Both teams found their feet from the blow in and the girls on both teams played with vigour and enthusiasm. After the first water break even more wonderful displays of hand passing and defensive blocks payed off to the home teams advantage. An excellent save from a strong kicker towards Our goalkeeper kept excitement levels high for the supporters of St. Margaret’s. Both teams secured tasty goal scores and equal points in the Second half of the match and great fun was had by all. The both teams have really a lot to be proud of by the final whistle. Great displays of team work and camaraderie. GAA all the way.
