Under 10’s Girls amazing performance at Home v St Patrick’s

There was a fantastic display of GAA at home in St. Margaret’s this morning where the rivals St. Patrick’s met a formidable home team.

So First half started strong for the teams with nice hand passing and strong defensive skills. Strong kicks meant good points were secured for both teams. St. Margaret’s won kick outs and sideline balls.

The team have gelled well and the girls showed excellent displays of communication while working well within their respective positions.

So Second half produced goals and further points from play. An injury from a defensive midfielder left our team a member down in the last five minutes but the girls rallied together and turned the ball from that tackle into another point.

Well done today to the team and their mentors , such talented girls
