St Margaret’s Junior Ladies get off to a flyer in first League game

St Margaret’s Junior ladies recorded a win in their first League game of the current campaign with an 8-15 to 1-10 victory over the much fancied Trinity Gaels team.

The team are gelling well together and all the hard work both the players and management team have put in is reaping the benefits.

There is still work to be done and with the willingness shown by the players to learn and improve this team will progress even further.

This was an excellent team performance with both the defensive unit and the forward unit working together to great effect but a special mention goes to Charmaine Doyle who worked her socks off in the middle of the field, helping out in defence when needed and driving the team forward at every opportunity.
