St Margarets GAA are delighted to announce we will be running a Grasshopper camp this year in conjunction with the Cul Camp July 10th to 14th
Grasshopper Camp for ages 3 to 5 years
Cost will be €50 and will include a Club Top
10am to 12.30am
To run in conjunction with our Kellogg's Cul Camp (6 years and older)
Club members and non club members more than welcome!!

Santa comes to town!
Santa came to town this afternoon in the Coolquay Lodge!!
Our Nursery and U7/U8 Boys & Girls had a wonderful morning and got to speak to Santa to make sure he didn't forget anything on their list!
Our Club president Mary Madigan and Club GPO Nigel Kennedy were with Santa and took a secret count of how many Boys & Girls were on a 'Nice' list - and we can officially reveal - that 'ALL' ... yes 'ALL' ... boys & Girls are on the 'Nice' list!!
MASSIVE thanks to Mary Madigan who made this happen - and Nigel Kennedy MC'ing and making everything tick! Thanks to all mentors of all our U8 down teams.
Thanks to all the staff at the Lodge for feeding us! and Briege for judging the best Christmas Jumper competition won by (winners to follow ...)!
Our Club Summer Camp 2022 Ends
Our Club Camp 2022 offically ended today and what a week it was!
What a great 5 days our kids have had! 140 kids rolled through the gates this week - up 60 from last year!
Training, learning, making friends and most of all - lots of fun!
It was brilliant to see our main pitch full of activity on all 5 days!

Thank you to our once in a lifetime GPO Nigel Kennedy and his 15+ coaches who trained, looked after, entertained our kids this week - you were all amazing and the kids loved you!
Thank you to the organisers and especially Hubert Madigan who simply made this work this week!
Thank you to our club president Mary Madigan and all those that helped organise the shop this week - Sherie, Trish, Edel, Tootsie, Michelle - your help was priceless!

Club Kit
I know you're sick of reading and hearing this - but thank you to Declan Cowley who organised this club wide Kit deal and the decision makers who saw a key opportunity and added the discounted Kit to the Summer Camp pricing which meant that our entire club is kitted out and branded! Unreal!
For those that don't have Kit yet - don't worry we'll let you know when it arrives.
Club Camp
This is not official yet - but our club camp will be a 3 day affair this year and will take place in August - either the 3 dates 17th/18th/19th or 24th/25th/26th. We will let you know as soon as we know.
Club Day
Our Club Day is ear marked for Sat 27th August - please save the date!!
As you may agree - last years Club day was a huge success and a blue print for all club days to come! This years format will follow suit with a few surprises!
BBQ, live music & kids entertainment. All teams will play on this day - league, cup and friendlies. We intend to have all teams playing at similar times this time around in the space of 2 hours - then we'll have a BBQ, music & bar till late evening

Grasshoppers - Presentation of new Jerseys - Friday July 8th @ 12 noon
We are delighted to announce that the Dublin Port Company are now our official Nursery section sponsor!
To kick off this new relationship, we will be handing out up to 60 jerseys to our upcoming St Margarets greats!
This presentation will take place after the Summer Camp tomorrow (Friday 8th July) @ 12pm sharp - on the main pitch.
Jerseys will be presented by our wonderful GPO Nigel Kennedy and amazing Club President Mary Madigan - and we'll have a special group photograph afterwards.
It would be tremendous if all Nursery parents and children attend this presentation - we know that may not be possible - but if you're around (especially if you're actually at the Summer camp) - please try and make it!

For those who haven't picked up their gear yet - can you please pick it up from the shop - Edel will be there and will look after you.
Also - there is a huge amount of clothing left behind each camp - and this camp is no exception - can you please pick clothing and bags you've left behind.

Our Club Day 2021 - Reconnect & Remember - is on Sat 28th August - please save the date!!

Please note that with indoor restrictions - rain is not our friend this week - and we'll make a call on whether to abandon the day as early as possible - to give you plenty of time.
