Finbar Shanahan & the Dublin Ladies GAA (LGFA) referees fun run in aid of St Francis Hospice – Saturday May 30th

Our very own Finbar Shanahan and the Dublin Ladies GAA (LGFA) referees group are holding a charity 5K fun run / walk this coming Saturday – May 30th – in aid of St. Francis Hospice.

We’d like to wish Finbar the best of luck – a fine cause – especially it being his birthday the same day! 🙂

Finbar is a long standing dedicated club member and referees in both ladies and mens football at adult club level.

He has refereed county championship finals in both mens and ladies in Dublin, Meath, Louth and Wicklow.

He is an inter-county referee in Ladies football and has refereed Leinster championship finals in all age groups including last years Leinster Junior Championship Final Louth v Carlow.

Leinster Junior Championship Final the umpires – David Smyth, Conor Shanahan, Brian Shanahan, Jack Murphy

Finbars team of officials regularly include other St Margarets club members including David Smyth, Conor Shanahan, Brian Shanahan, Jack Murphy, Eoin and Mark Hanlon and Charmaine Doyle who are all part of his regular team of umpires.

The charity 5K fun will not be centralised but will be run individually at each participants discretion. If you’d like to donate to this fine cause – visit https://www.gofundme.com/f/dublin-lgfa-refs – all donations welcome!

Previous Happy birthday to our GPO, Nigel Kennedy. Have a great day 🎉🎁
