St Margarets GAA would like to invite you and your families to a very special day in our clubs history.

On Easter Sunday we are holding a day of commemoration and celebration of people and events that helped shape our club, our parish and our country over the last hundred plus years

The day will begin with a parade from St Margarets graveyard to the club grounds, where a ceremony involving the reading of The Proclamation and raising of the colours will take place

3 memorial plaques will also be unveiled as part of this ceremony

A slide show covering events going back as far as the foundation of the club will be shown in the clubhouse. The show also includes slides relating to the the St Margarets Branch of The Irish Countrywomen’s Association who played such a prominent and positive role in the parish for many many years

To help us record the day photos of each team and their mentors will be taken, so please wear club gear where possible

School group photos of children from the three local schools will also be taken. This is a once in a lifetime event so please make sure you are there
