Cul Camp / Nursery Camp - Day 3
We had a brilliant day today on Day 3 of both camps - some photos below
See you all tomorrow!
Please note that with indoor restrictions - rain is not our friend this week - and we'll make a call on whether to abandon the day as early as possible - to give you plenty of time. Note if any of this weeks days are abandoned - we'll make it up to you during our Club Camp in August - but fingers crossed the rain will stay away!
Cul Camp / Nursery Camp - Day 2
A slightly overcast Day 2 didn't stop the fun and games at our camps
Again almost 170 kids turned up to some serious coaching!
Thanks again to all the coaches and parents!

A good win for our U14 girls today
Missing our goalkeeper meant stand ins by 3 different players, a big thank you to the 3 girls for stepping forward to play in goal. Clannagael made it difficult for our girls in the 4th quarter but they held firm and were very happy to come away with the win. #matchday @clannafontenoy
U14 girls enjoying a celebratory dip after their match against O'Dwyers earlier today
The girls enjoyed a well deserved cool down swim after their match earlier today. O'Dwyers pitch couldn't be more perfectly located to enjoy a post match run and jump into the water. #matchday #swimday @odwyersgaa
U14 Girls - First Friendly Game of the Season
Last night our U14 girls had their first match since last year. It was great to see them back in action.
There were loads of positives to take for the girls and lots of tips for what we need to do to improve even more. It was an exciting night for Lucy, a new team member who only began playing football a few weeks ago! Our goalie Molly had a very strong game and took command of her goal area. Now the girls look to more important matters with their first *competitive* match this Sunday at home to St. Brendans, 13:30 throw in.
U14 Girls are looking forward to donning their club jerseys again next week.
The countdown is on, club matches are are only one week away 🙂 https://youtu.be/gsT-YD0xYc8
Happy birthday Martin
Big happy birthday to our U14 girls team mentor Martin Lumley - 40 years young. Martin was delighted with all the fuss the girls made about his birthday. The team enjoyed sharing the birthday cake, singing happy birthday and launching footballs at the sweet filled birthday Piñata 🎉
U14 Girls continue to train via Zoom
Well done to our U14 girls for the dedication they continue to show to training. Despite lockdown they continue their team training albeit via Zoom. 6th night of Zoom training tonight with another great attendance of 16 players. Thank you Ceri and Katelyn for taking the classes.
