NBC coming to St Margaret's! Saturday 24th June - U10s Girls v St Brendanns

Our U10s match v St Brendan's on Saturday 24th June will be filmed by NBC.

Here's why! NBC are filming an episode of a long-running series made in conjunction with the University of Notre Dame called 'What would you fight for?'

This episode is about the university's investment into CF research, so they're filming with Eva and her family, and also want to catch her in action with her team mates 😃

The 2 minute film will be shown on-screen in the Aviva during Notre Dame's 'Fighting Irish' American Football match against Navy, as part of the College Classic. It will also air at the same time on NBC in the States!

The plan is to film a warm-up with NBC at 11am sharp, before the match at 12.

It's a great opportunity to showcase the club.

Please come and support and wear your full Mags kit 🙌

Hughie Smith Memorial Shield - Monday, June 12th

Girls from four national schools (St Margrets, Kilcoskan, Mary Queen of Ireland, Milverton) will participate, and the winning school will have the honour of housing the Hughie Smith Memorial Shield.

This is a very special Shield tournament that gives us the opportunity to remember and celebrate through Gaelic Football, the much loved and fondly remembered Hughie.

This event will take place in Rivermeade.

Your support at this event is very welcome!

U9's / U10's Girls Home Match v St Finbarrs

There was nearly a full compliment of players for an exciting game between the teams this morning at home in St Margaret’s GAA Grounds.

The players are really showing huge promise. New players that joined this year are developing their skills and seasoned players are really honing their skills.

What a fantastic opportunity for young players to meet new friends and keep fit. If you know anyone who wants to join please feel free to contact us to have a chat.

We are always happy to see new players. Share and like to see more updates on what St Margaret’s GAA community are all about.

A wonderful display from the home team on St. Margaret’s beautiful pitch against a formidable Eirn Go Bragh opposition. The players showed strength and resilience. There was a great display of player positioning on the field. Spectators enjoyed the morning of the all Ireland Final with good weather and wonderful displays from both sides. Team spirits were high and players gained excellent experience. Well done to the mentors and coaches and teammates. #teamspirit #friendsforlife#giverespectgetrespect#stmargaretsgaa#eirngobraghgaa {CAPTION}
