Summer Camp Registration Now Open!

Registration for our Summer camps is now opened. Camps will run from Monday 15th to Friday 19th July this year from 10am to 1pm/2pm.

Our camps provide Gaelic Football skills coaching with an emphasis on athletic development in a fun environment with lots of games, activities, min-leagues and surprises. Camps will be arranged according to age and ability. The emphasis of the camp is on the acquisition and development of individual skills in a game based fun program.

Grasshoppers/Under 7 Academy

Grasshoppers takes place in the club's GAA grounds on Saturday mornings at 10.30am till 11.30am. We are always happy to welcome new members.

The Grasshoppers age group is typically children between 4yrs and 6yrs, with the focus more on developing fundamental movement skills, delivered through a series of fun games, younger children may like to try out the games with parent's support.

Our u7s academy currently train together 10.30am till 11.30am on Saturday mornings, the focus of the practice session is fun games that include more skill development with a football. Our u7s are due to enter an u8s mixed league ( girls and boys mixed team) in spring 2019, new members always welcome.

This section is coordinated by our club coaches, who are Garda Vetted, have completed a child safeguarding workshop and have a coaching qualification.

Our club's GPO (games promotion officer) is Joe McBearty. Joe's role here is to oversee activities being carried out and to help develop both coaches and the children.

Foundation Coaching Course Mon 17th Sep at 7pm & Fri/Sat 5th/6th October

The Club will hold another Foundation Coaching Course in the club on Fri/Sat 5th/6th October. Times TBC. This is for all members who are coaching or managing teams or are interested in coaching/managing and is a requirement if they do not have it already (Over 16s only). We will also run a Fundamental skills coaching course for all of our underage coaches on Mon 17th Sep at 7pm.
