Thomas Ashe u16 boys played their second championship match this weekend at home V O’Dwyers
The lads were outstanding in the first half with all forwards contributing to an impressive lead going in at half time
The second half was closely contested but the Thomas Ashe back lines prevented O Dwyers from getting a hold on the game
Thomas Ashe won by 2-19 to 3-06 and currently top the group
Every player was superb including the 5 subs that contributed to the victory but a special mention to Josh Kennedy who was outstanding in midfield with several beautiful scores and tracking back to assist the defence, when required
