U9s Mixed V Round Towers – Match report

The future of our club – the U9s Mixed seldomly disappoint  – this game was no exception – full of future stars!

This team scare opponents with their speed, skill and zest

1 squad, 2 strong teams – same result – enthusiasm, skill, commitment – it is the Margarets way after-all!

Both teams started this encounter with tremendous will – St Margarets going into early leads on both pitches!

Hand passing, kick passing, this team has it all!

The sharpness – clearly instilled by coaches David Rielly and Greg Doyle clearly evident – started to wane first water break and Round Towers started to impose.

A northeastern wind helped Lusk into a commanding half time lead on both pitches – St Margarets unable to get out of their half!

But this squad – have guile – and after the break – having been spoken to by both management teams had been organised a little better – and with more players aware of their roles – Margarets steamed into unassailable leads – running out winners on both pitches!

Well done boys and girls and special thanks to the management team – you’s do a great job!

Thank you to the members of the senior squad who helped today – much appreciated!
